Bushfire Resilience & Recovery Project

Information, resources and information developed as a result of the Bushfire Resilience and Recovery Project (BRRP) has also been included on this page. The BRRP set out to understand the experiences of families and carers who cared for children with additional needs through the Black Summer Fires and into recovery, including COVID19.

The BRRP has enjoyed genuine engagement which has resulted in recommendations on how to improve systems to achieve better outcomes for families, carers and children with additional needs. More information on the project can be found in “Our Impact”.

Please find below the Bushfire Resilience and Recovery Project (BRRP) Final Report and a list of other documents that were developed during the project. More details are found in “Our Impact”
