Support for families, carers and their children with additional needs in East Gippsland

Welcome all families

The Children with Additional Needs Working Group (CWANWG) is a sub-group of the Children’s Wellbeing Collective (CWC) and formed in late 2015, after a combination of data and feedback from families and professionals about a complicated system that makes it difficult for families to get support when they need it. The CWANWG is a group made up of parents and service providers.

The CWANWG identifies issues for children with additional needs and their families and how improvements can be made. The Children with Additional Needs Working Group (CWANWG) has developed a Five Year Framework, which is the local plan with a strategic view of the key outcomes for addressing the challenges and opportunities for children with additional needs in East Gippsland.
